Isidro Sánchez-García is a Senior Scientist at the Instituto de Biologia Molecular y Celular del Cancer, Spanish National Research Council. His work has pioneered the relationship between stem cells and cancer, including the first European patent relating to cancer stem cells, and provides the basis to new cancer therapy strategies.
