Hiroko Isoda (Editor)

Research conducted at Dr. Hiroko Isoda’s laboratory mainly focus on plants growing in arid and semi-arid habitats, such as desert, foreseeing their medicinal properties, and potential application into pharmaceutical or food industries. Among her research achievements, the identification of plants and functional plant components from olive and medicinal plants originally grown in North Africa, having anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-allergy activities have been reported in different journals and international conferences. Dr. Hiroko Isoda serves as Board Member at several professional societies within and outside Japan, has published more than 120 original articles in scientific journals and 35 patents registered.
