Hamidreza Ayatollahy is a Professor of Philosophy at Allameh Tabatabaii University and founder of the Iranian Association for Philosophy of Religion. He received his PhD in philosophy at Vrij Universiteit Brussel (1998), his MA in philosophy and BS in physics and Islamic studies at Tehran University (1975-1985). He has published 23 books, 81 papers in renowned journals and 67 papers in other journals. Additionally, he has presented 87 papers in international conferences. He has been Editor in Chief of five academic journals and has been an executing or collaborating member of 38 scientific research projects.
