Dr. Hajar Abedi is a leading researcher in radar-based health monitoring and gait analysis. She is the Co-founder & Chief Science Officer at GoldSentintel, where she leads the development of AI-powered radar solutions aimed at enhancing quality of life and healthcare, particularly for seniors. Dr. Abedi earned her PhD from the University of Waterloo, Canada. Her contributions to the field have been widely recognized, earning her multiple international awards, including the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Fellowship and the Young Scientist Award at EMTS 2023. She is also the IEEE AP-S Young Professional Ambassador for 2025 and has been actively involved in scientific research, innovation, and leadership in AI-driven health monitoring and human movement analysis.
