Dr. Yildiz obtained her PhD in Food Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. She is currently working at food engineering department in Igdir University as an associate Professor. She is also head of the department of gastronomy and culinary arts. She is the recipient of several prizes, awards and fellowships. She has attended several national/international scientific conferences and workshops as a speaker and shared her knowledge on food processing and engineering.
Interests: Novel food processing, power ultrasound, technological aspects (nutritional, microbial, enzymatic and chemical inactivation phenomena) in thermal and non-thermal processing studies, micro and nano-delivery systems, food drying, functional foods, fruit-vegetable technologies.
