Prof. Guillermo Monrós is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Jaume I University of Castellón. He coordinates the research group "Environmental Inorganic Chemistry and Ceramic Materials" made up of teachers and researchers from the Jaume I University of Castellón, He was co-director of the Master of Environment at the Jaume I University (10 editions). He has supervised 10 PhD students and is author of more than 120 international publications in the ceramics field and the related fields of environmental management and application. He is the author, among others, of the book "El Color de la Cerámica" (2003) and co-editor of "Waste Engineering: towards a sustainable management " (2008) and “Pigmentos termosolares ecoeficientes” (2017). His research topics focus on the synthesis and characterization of low toxicity ceramic pigments with environmental functionalities such as "cold pigments" associated with their high NIR reflectance or with photocatalytic activity on substances with difficult biodegradability or atmospheric pollutants.
