Guido Posthausen, Course Coordinator “TRACKS” tertiary preparation program, has 14 years of experience in teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults through his work at the Oorala Aboriginal Centre, UNE. He coordinates pathway units in Academic Skills and Information and Communication Technologies. Guido also coordinates the Oorala Centre’s education programs for Indigenous men in Correctional Centres, for which UNE received an AUTC Award for University Teaching (Institutional Award) in 2002. His work has been recognised with a Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (Team Category), a Carrick Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning in 2007, and a 2011-12 OLT funded “Indigenous Higher Education Transition Project”.
