Gregor Papa received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is a Researcher and a Head of the Computer Systems department, Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia. His research interests include optimization techniques, metaheuristic algorithms, and hardware implementations of high-complexity algorithms. He is also an Assistant Professor at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
