Dr. Lanier is an Assistant Professor at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois and then completed medical residency and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Post-fellowship training in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation was completed at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center. He is currently on faculty at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, as the Associate Director of Heart Failure and Director of Pulmonary Hypertension. He is a member of the editorial board for Cardiology in Review, and is actively involved in several different clinical research endeavors, including a translational science project involving pulmonary hypertension patients.
