Graziano Pinna is a scientist of international reputation for his discoveries on anxiety, depression, and PTSD. He received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Free University of Berlin, Germany and a Laura of Doctor in Neuropharmacology from the University of Cagliari, Italy. He has authored 70 articles in impact journals of psychiatry, neuroendocrinology, and neuroscience, which have been featured several times in the media. He has been an invited speaker in international conferences and has organized drug discovery symposia. Prof. Pinna is well-known for the discovery of a new mechanism of action of fluoxetine with impact in SSRI therapy of anxiety, PTSD, premenstrual syndrome, and depression.
