Gökçen Yıldız is an associate professor in the department of Food Engineering at the Bursa Technical University in Turkey. She has reviewed a lot of manuscripts for the publication in high-impact factor journals. She has several research and review articles (SCI Journals), book chapters and books in the field of food processing and technology. She teaches several undergraduate and postgraduate classes including fruit-vegetable technology, food chemistry, advanced sensory analysis, and drying technology. She has been involved in several projects as project manager and researcher.

Interests: Fruit-vegetable technology, drying process, food processing and preservation, functional foods, food chemistry.
