Gian Luigi de'Angelis: full Professor at Parma University, achieved post graduate degree in General Pediatrics, in Gastroenterology and in Pediatric Surgery, and PhD in Pediatric Gastroenterology. He obtained the diploma of « Assistant étranger » at University of Paris VII « Xavier Bichat » (1982-1983). His main fields of interest are Digestive Endoscopy, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Gastrointestinal Polyposis, Celiac Disease, Helicobacter pylori infection, Gastroesophageal reflux diseases. He has published more than 360 papers included chapters of textbooks. He was Editor of the first Italian book on Pediatric Digestive Endoscopy and he is a scientific reviewer for many reputed medical journals. He is member of Italian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (SIGENP), European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN), and of Italian Society of Digestive Endoscopy (SIED).
