Dr. Gary Lilienthal holds a law degree from Sydney University, a Law Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Sydney College, a Melbourne High Distinction Master’s Degree in Freudian and Lacanian Psychoanalysis, and a Perth Australia Doctorate in the history and development of intellectual property. He is widely published internationally and renowned for the use of psychoanalytic methods in doctrinal research. He was formerly a professor at the University at Tashkent State University of Law, but now serves as a professor of law by the Vice Chancellor’s appointment at NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad, in India. He chairs the Carrington Rand Collaboration, a group of over 60 scholars from around the world that develop published journal papers as pilot research projects, identifying research gaps for commercialized research purposes with interested government clients. Moreover, Dr. Lilienthal has published a suite of three research pieces on the character of Diplomatic Law, and he has published SCOPUS-indexed pilot research into the genesis of water rights.
