Fred Van Oystaeyen authored more than 300 international scientific publications in Mathematics, mainly Algebra and Geometry as well as some in Physics journals. He is doctor honoris causa at Universidad de Almeria (Spain) and at Free University of Brussels (Belgium), and he is honorary professor at the Beijing Normal university. He authored or edited more than 50 books.
