Francisco López Muñoz (Editor)

Professor of Pharmacology, Complutense University of Madrid.

Francisco López-Muñoz has a PhD in medicine (Complutense University) and a PhD in Spanish language and literature (University of Alcalá). He is a specialist in pharmaceutical medicine, and postgraduate in holocaust studies from the International School of Yad Vashem (Jerusalem, Israel). Currently he is a professor of pharmacology, Vice Chancellor of Research and Science, and Chairman of the Research Ethics Committee at Camilo José Cela University (Madrid), and Research Fellow at “Hospital 12 de Octubre” Research Institute (Madrid, Spain). He has supervised 16 PhD theses, has participated in 37 research projects, and acts as evaluator for several European agencies. He is editor/author of 28 books and author of 227 chapters of books and 400 articles related to the psychopharmacology, and is member of several scientific societies and editorial boards. Prof. López-Muñoz has various awards for his research career, and is Academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors and European Academy of Sciences and Arts Salzburg, and Correspondent Academician of the Royal Academies of Medicine and Surgery of Cádiz, History and Art of San Quirce, Pharmacy of the Valencian Community, Medicine of Eastern Andalusia and Foreign Corresponding Academician of the National Academies of Medicine of Colombia, Venezuela, Paraguay and Dominican Republic.
