Felipe López-Saucedo (b. 1985, Mexico City) holds a Ph.D. (2018) from the Institute of Nuclear Sciences, UNAM, MX. His research focuses on the synthesis of advanced materials, particularly gamma radiation-synthesized polymeric materials with stimulus-responsive properties, anti-infective capabilities, and applications in drug and nanoparticle loading for biomedical systems, with expertise in organic synthesis and pincer-type organometallic complexes for catalysis. Dr. López-Saucedo has co-authored over 40 research articles and book chapters, as well as three books on biomaterials and sonochemistry. His work bridges materials science, chemistry, and biomedical applications, highlighting an interdisciplinary approach. His interests include writing and science communication.
