Fedor N. Lisetskii is the director of the Federal-regional center of aerospace and surface monitoring of the objects and natural resources, Professor of the Environmental Management and Land Survey, Belgorod State National Research University, Belgorod, Russian Federation. Lisetskii has graduated from the Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University, being a disciple of professor H. I. Shvebs who is a hydrologist, geographer, and a founder of the new branch of erosion science. His professional interests are focused on investigations related to the development of principles of soil-protective and ecological landscaping, as well as modeling of soil resources restoration processes. He participated in formulation of the national concept of development of farming systems on a landscape base and in developing the methods of designing an anti-erosion block of ecological and landscape farming systems. He has developed methods for calculation the standard indicators of soil-protective farming (book “Recent developments in erosion science” (2012)). Over recent years under his guidance there have been implied the projects of soil-protective farming within the frames of general concept of basin environmental management in one of the country regions. Member of the Inter-College Scientific Coordination Council on erosion, channel and wellhead processes at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Author, co-author of over 450 publications, including 15 books, 76 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
