Dr. Fakir Mohan Debta graduated from SCB Dental College, Cuttack in the year 2000. He obtained his post graduation degree in the branch of Oral Medicine and Radiology, from Government Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University, in the year 2004. With almost 17 years of teaching experience, he is currently working in the capacity of Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, SCB Dental College and Hospital, Cuttack, Odisha, India. An eminent academician and skillful oral diagnostician, he specializes in early diagnosis and prompt conservative therapy of oral and maxillofacial lesions. He is one of the first in his state to explore the role of lasers as a diagnostic and adjunctive therapeutic tool in the field of oral and maxillofacial medicine. His astute thinking and clinical judgments make him one of the most reckoned for oral and maxillofacial diagnostician and radiologist of his time.
