Evangelos G. Giakoumis is Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He is the author of more than 90 papers in international Journals and Conferences, five book chapters, and of two monographs published by Springer. He is a 2016 Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher (Thomson Reuters IP and Science). His scientific interests include transient diesel engine operation, driving cycles, second-law analysis, and use of biofuels in engines.
