Eva Arbel, MSW, a native of Israel and herself adopted at birth, is a supervisor and case worker for the Israel Association for Family and Marriage Counseling Services, as well as a clinical instructor at Ben Gurion University. Her personal history led her to a special interest in adoption and to assume a leading role in the field of organizing and leading parents' groups for adopting families. The author of numerous articles and children's books dealing with adoption issues, she currently resides with her family on Kibbutz Miflasim, near the Gaza Strip in Israel.
