Enrico Ferri

University “Niccolò Cusano” (UNICUSANO) – Rome, Italy.

Born in Rome, Enrico Ferri attended the Liceo classico Marco Tullio Cicerone at Arpino, he studied law at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, graduating in 1983 in Philosophy of Law with full marks and honors. Doctorate in Philosophy of Law at the University of Padova (1986/9), qualifying for one-year exchange program at the universities of Heidelberg and Gottingen. After stints at various Italian universities (Teramo, Cassino, Roma Tre, Sassari), he joined Unicusano University, teaching Philosophy of law and History of Islamic countries. He has written for various nationwide newspapers, including “Il Messaggero”, “Il Tempo” and “L’Unità”, and is currently a regular contributor to “Cusano Focus,” a nationwide weekly. He has organized and coordinated numerous international conferences at various universities and cultural centers in Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Spain, Algeria. He has published three monographs and over 20 publications in Italian, French, English and Spanish. He coordinated from 1981 to 1986 the editorial board of the Armenian periodical Zeithun.
