Systemic-relational therapist working with individual, couples and families. Since her arrival in the UK she has been working in close connection with the Midlands Local Authorities to deliver therapeutic support to adoptive and foster children and their families.
She holds the position of Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Northampton, UK. She is a member of the scientific board at the European Institute of Systemic-relational Therapies, founded in Milan by Valeria Ugazio.
Her research interests are adoption and foster care, critical transitions in the family life cycle, the counsellor’s and psychotherapist’s self-reflection. On these subjects, Elisa has released several congress presentations, workshops and publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is conducting workshops on reflexivity in counselling at the University of Northampton, UK.
