Edda Polz, PhD, is a lecturer of English and School Laws at the University College of Teacher Education in Lower Austria.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary School Education, a Master’s degree (Mag. iur.) in Law and a PhD in Educational Sciences and Communication. Her dissertation was a study on competency-based teaching of English as a foreign language on primary level.

Edda regularly takes part as speaker in national and international scientific conferences and publishes her findings. Her research interests include teaching English as a foreign language, competency-based education, enquiry learning, giftedness, and lifelong learning.
