Dr. Doron Pely received his B.Sc. in computer science, his MA in international dispute resolution, and his PhD (Kings College, London) in Middle East studies. Doron studies and writes extensively about Muslim/Arab conflict resolution traditions. He teaches conflict de-escalation and cross-cultural negotiations at the Safe Communities Institute, a part of the Sol Price School of Social Policy at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Pely taught emotions in conflict for the Graduate Program in Dispute Resolution at Bar Ilan University, Israel. Alongside his academic work, Doron performed geopolitical analyses for multinational corporations, managed competitive intelligence projects, and led large-scale risk-analysis projects.
