Deborah Jo Levine, MD is currently a Professor of Medicine at Stanford University in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She specializes in Lung Transplantation and Pulmonary Hypertension. She is active in both fields clinically as well as academically through her research and education efforts. She holds leadership roles in these fields, through the American Society of Transplantation, American College of Chest Physicians, International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, Pulmonary Hypertension Association and the OPTN (Organ Procurement and Transplant Network). Her research interests are focused on Pulmonary Antibody-Mediated Rejection (AMR), transplant candidate sensitization, risk assessment and stratification in pulmonary hypertension, and risk assessment in lung transplant candidates.
