Bachelor’s degree in biology from the Santa Ursula University (Rio de Janeiro), M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Institute, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz, Rio de Janeiro). He is currently Associate Researcher at the Laboratory of Structural Biology at Fiocruz and his projects are related to the pathogenesis of acquired and congenital T. gondii infection on the cerebral microvasculature, neurogenesis and skeletal muscle biology.
