Daisy Pillay is a Professor in Teacher Education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is a C1 NRF-rated researcher. Her scholarship is in Identity Studies and focuses on teachers’ personal-professional lives as the source and site for their learning, revising, and self-transformation. Her creative methodological approaches for studying lived lives include narrative inquiry, self-study research, autoethnography, and other self-reflexive methodologies. Her publications include edited books, Memory Mosaics: Researching teacher professional learning through artful memory-work and Object Medleys: Interpretative Possibilities and Educational Research.
