Daiana Avila has earned her Ph.D in Toxicological Biochemistry in 2009 in Brazil. At the same year she has worked as postdoc at Vanderbilt University. In 2011 she joined Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA), in Uruguaiana, Brazil as tenured professor. Dr. Avila´s research interests are related to toxicological assessments using Caenorhabditis elegans as animal model.
