Colin Ahoy is Elder-in-Residence at the Oorala Aboriginal Centre and also performs a range of important consultancy work for various schools at the University of New England, including the School of Education. The University of New England acknowledges that its people, programs and facilities are built on land, and surrounded by a sense of belonging, both ancient and contemporary, of the world’s oldest living culture. It is located on the country of the Anaiwan people, for whom Colin is a respected Elder. The Anaiwan people share the caring of this country with the Gumbaynggirr, Kamilaroi, and Dhunghutti nations.
