Claude Gottesmann

Claude Gottesmann was born in Paris and completed his studies in Psychology at the Sorbonne and at the Paris Institute of Psychology. He then completed a training course in Neuroscience at the Science Faculty of Paris and studied Psychoanalysis at the French Association of Psychoanalysis (APF) in Paris. After being Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science of Paris, he became a Professor at the Science Faculty of the University of Nice in 1968, where he was Director of the Department of Neurobiology (1968-2004) and is now Professor Emeritus. He was Dean of the Faculty from 1974 to 1977.
