Chloé Fandel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Carleton College. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Hydrology from the University of Arizona, and a B.A. in Geosciences from Brown University. She studies groundwater flow and surface water/groundwater exchanges in karst aquifers and in arid regions. Her research approach centers around optimizing field data collection and informing practical water resource management decisions using multi-model ensembles. Her illustrations have been used in scientific white papers, public signage and outreach materials, and peer-reviewed publications.
