Chandrasekar Vuppalapati holds a master’s degree in software engineering from San Jose State University and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. His diverse expertise covers software technologies, enterprise software architectures, cloud computing, machine learning, data analytics, internet of things (IoT), and software products and programs. He has worked at GE Healthcare, Cisco Systems, St. Jude Medical, and Lucent Technologies, a Bell Laboratories company. At San Jose State University, he teaches Software Engineering, Mobile Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Data Science, Large Scale Analytics, and Advanced Data Mining. In addition, Chandra held market research, strategy, and technology architecture advisory roles at Cisco Systems and Lam Research and served as the Principal Investigator for Valley School of Nursing. Among his publications are Building Enterprise IoT Applications, Democratization of Artificial Intelligence for the Future of Humanity, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Agricultural Economics: Prognostic Data Analysis for Small Scale Farmers Worldwide, Artificial Intelligence and Heuristics for Enhanced Food Security, and Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics for Food Security. In addition to ICCCES 2020, Chandra edited several conference publications, including Intelligent Communication Technologies and Internet of Things: Proceedings of ICICI 2021, Intelligent Communication Technologies and Virtual Mobile Networks: Proceedings of ICICV 2022.
