Dr. Carmen Rubio, Ph.D., is a biomedical researcher at the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía (INNN) in Mexico City. With a career spanning since 1999, she has explored the fundamental epilepsy mechanisms, notably caloric restriction, ketogenic diets, neuronal cell death, and anti-inflammatory agents. Her laboratory skills encompass electrophysiology, Immunohistology, and microscopy. Dr. Rubio has supervised numerous theses, authored over 40 indexed journal articles, and contributed to several journal articles and book chapters.
