Carmen Cimpeanu is Professor in the Environmental Engineering Department at the UASVM, Bucharest – Romania. Her research topics involves soil and water quality concerns and bioremediation and phytoremediation of contaminants. She has published more than 180 papers, is member of some international/national scientific associations and expert for the Romanian Research Programs.
