Carlos López-Veraza Pérez is a Spanish Public Prosecutor with over 12 years of experience, specialized in criminal and civil international cooperation, migrant smuggling, human trafficking, and the legal protection of persons with disabilities. He holds a Master’s degree in EU Law and Fundamental Rights and is currently a PhD candidate at Carlos III University, working on a thesis in international criminal law. He is also the author of several legal articles and the book “Criminal Law in the EU and the Right to a Fair Trial.
