Brinda Shrestha is an architect and urban planner and currently works at Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, Nepal. She is a graduate in architecture and has also completed a Master of Science degree in urban planning jointly from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering, Nepal and Aalborg University, Denmark (under Erasmus Mundus Scholarship) in 2011. Brinda has gained a wide range of professional experiences in the urban development field working in both private and government organizations as well as in academic institutions. Her main research interest lies in the broad areas of contemporary urban development and its impact on city identity. She has published several research articles in international journals.
