Professor Binay Kumar Pandey is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India. He obtained his M. Tech with a specialisation in bioinformatics from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, M.P., India, in 2008. He obtained his first degree in B. Tech at the IET Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Uttar Pradesh and Lucknow), India, in 2005. In 2010, he joined the Department of Information Technology at the College of Technology at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar as an Assistant Professor and has worked on various UG and PG projects till date. He has more than ten years of experience in the fields of teaching and research. He has more than 50 publications in reputed peer journals, including Springer, Inderscience, (sci and socopus indexed journals and others) and 3 patents. He has many awards, such as the PM Scholarship, etc. He was session chair at the IEEE International Conference on Advent Trends in Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (ICATMRI-2020) on December 30, 2020 organised by Pankaj Laddhad Institute of Technology and Management Studies in Buldhana, Maharashtra, India and is a reviewer of SCI/Scopus indexed journals for Springer, Wiley, etc.
