Professor Binay Kumar Pandey is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India. He obtained his Master of Technology with a specialization in bioinformatics from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, M.P., India, in 2008. He obtained his first degree, a Bachelor of Technology, at the IET Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Uttar Pradesh and Lucknow), India, in 2005. In 2010, he joined the Department of Information Technology at the College of Technology at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar as an Assistant Professor and has worked on various UG and PG projects till date. He has more than ten years of experience in the fields of teaching and research. He has more than 50 publications in reputed peer journals, including Springer, Inderscience, (SCI and SCOPUS indexed journals as well as others) and 3 patents. He has many awards, including the PM Scholarship. He was a session chair at the IEEE International Conference on Advent Trends in Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation (ICATMRI-2020) on December 30, 2020, organized by Pankaj Laddhad’s Institute of Technology and Management Studies in Buldhana, Maharashtra, India. Pandey is a reviewer of SCI/Scopus indexed journals for Springer, Wiley, and others.
