Doctor in Sciences by São Paulo University (USP), currently leading the research group in Cleaner Production and Industrial Ecology of Paulista University (UNIP). He founded the International Workshop Advances in Cleaner Production, and co-founded the Cleaner Production Round Table at São Paulo city. He is associate editor of Journal of Environmental Accounting and Management. Including books, articles and conferences, he published over 200 works dealing with Production and the Environment. He integrates the International Committee of Global Footprint Network for Standardization, is member of Brazilian Pollution Prevention Roundtable, and belongs to International Society for the Advancement of Emergy Research.
