Dr Bhavini Desai is an Associate Professor and Director of Content in the areas of Brand Management and Marketing at Regents University, London. Bhavani has balanced her 15+ years of academic experience in Digital Marketing & Data Analytics with industry experience from consultancy work in private and public sectors. From 2002-2006, she worked at Brunel University as a Researcher on an Economic and Social Research Council project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). In her role as a Head of Programme, Bhavini had been responsible for: monitoring and improving the development and delivery of modules on the programme; enhancement of student experience; engagement with and improvement of student recruitment and Retention; liaison with relevant internal and external constituents; and has successfully led the programme through a revalidation. Her research interests lie in the areas of innovation and adoption of emerging technologies for digital marketing with a particular interest in Changes in consumer behaviour, Marketing to the New Age Digital Customers, Big Data Management and Strategic Management. She has published articles in journals, conferences and books as well as coedited them. Bhavini is currently acting as a reviewer for a journal and a SIG chair.
