Bharath Setturu is a post-doctoral fellow at Energy and Wetlands Research Group (EWRG), Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has been actively involved in several national and international scientific projects carried out by EWRG team using a wide range of GIS, Remote Sensing and ecological techniques. He has published 29 research papers in peer reviewed international journals, 3 book chapters, 43 papers in national & international conference proceedings, and 50+ technical reports. His work has received appreciation across the globe. He is a recipient of “Sahyadri Ecologist” award twice (2016 & 2020).
