Dr. Rocky shifted from a corporate management career (2007-2011) to academia in 2011 and since then, he has lectured at vocational and tertiary educational institutions. He has worked for Australian School of Management, Southern Cross University, ATMC Federation University, ATMC Sunshine Coast University, Macleay College and Box Hill TAFE as a sessional lecturer in the field of business and project management. His tertiary teaching experience include units: Project Management, Managerial Decision Making, Global Business Strategy, Academic and Professional Skills, Enterprise Innovation (Entrepreneurship), Business Ethics and Research. He is also a co-founder and associate researcher of Australian Centre for Sustainable Development Research & Innovation – An Australian Registered Charity Organisation.
