Dr. Asita Elengoe is currently the head of Biotechnology Department at the Faculty of Applied Science, Lincoln University College, Malaysia. She obtained her doctorate in Bioscience (2015) and Master of Science in Biotechnology (2010) from Universiti Teknologi, Malaysia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (2008) from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. Her research focuses on cancer, gene therapy, computational biology, natural products, and medicinal plants.
