Dr. Ashutosh Mani earned his M.Sc. in and PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Allahabad, India. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. He has supervised five PhD students in the area of computational and molecular biology. Dr. Mani has handled six sponsored projects funded by various agencies. He has about ten years teaching and research experience. Dr. Mani has published more than 30 articles in national and international journals of repute and authored seven book chapters. He is a reviewer of many international journals in the areas of biotechnology and bioinformatics. His current focus includes the role of cold shock domain proteins in cancer proliferation, identification of natural therapeutics against Alzheimer’s disease, applications of artificial intelligence in genomics and biomedical image processing.
