António Pereira has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Founding shareholder of Martifer Group (ca. 3500 employees). Since 2000 he has been a professor at University of Aveiro, where he held management positions in the Department of Mechanical Engineering - Executive Committee. He is currently Director of the Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation.
