Dr. Anita Kumari is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition Biology, Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh. She did her Ph. D in Food Science and Nutrition from CSK Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur (H.P). She has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. She has guided several M.Sc. dissertation students and Ph. D students are also working under her guidance. Her research is focused on the development and quality evaluation of functional food products from underutilized crops. She has more than 30 research papers, articles, and book chapters in national and international reputed journals. She has also been invited as a resource person by various national and international organizations to deliver talks on various aspects of nutrition. She is a member of various academic and professional bodies.
