Animesh Basak has graduated in 2002 with a B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh with honours. Upon completion of Masters and PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering, from Katholieke Universeteit Leuven (KULeuven), Belgium, he started working in different Australian universities. Dr. Basak’s research interests include nanostructured materials, high resolution electron microscopy and probe analysis, nano-scale fabrication of materials, deformation mechanisms novel materials, nano-mechanics, tribology and tribo-corrosion, electrochemistry and electrochemical measurement techniques.
