The author is a native of India and naturalized Citizen of the United States of America. He graduated with distinction from Calcutta National Medical College Indian in 1959. He is diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and fellow of American College of Physician and American Society of Nephrology. He is a two time Fulbright Scholar and author of 14 books and 250 articles and abstract and a visiting Professor of 24 countries.
