Andrey Bryukhovetskiy retired from the position of Chief Neurologist of the Russian Navy as colonel of the Medical Naval Service to continue his clinical and research work in private hospital NeuroVita. He became the Professor of Neurology in 2002 pursuing the therapy of neurological disorders through stem cells. In 2005-2009 Prof. Bryukhovetskiy headed the Department of Cell Reparative Medicine of the Russian State Medical University. He is the author of 150 articles, 16 patents and five books. From 2012 to December 2015 headed the Center for Biomedical Technologies of the Federal Research and Clinical Center for Specialized Types of Medical Assistance and Medical Technologies of the Federal Medical Biological Agency. From 2014 till now Prof. Andrey Bryukhovetskiy is the Senior Research Scientist of the National Research Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology of the School of Biomedicine of the Far Eastern Federal University
