Dr. Andrey V. Gorovtsov is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology of Southern Federal University and Senior Researcher in the Federal Rostov Institute of Agriculture as well as the Head of International Master’s Degree Educational Program “Human ecology with fundamental biomedicine”. His scientific interests include general microbiology and soil microbiology, in particular the structure and functioning of microbial communities under anthropogenic impact, especially of urban origin, plant-microbial interactions in rhizosphere, and antagonistic and symbiotic interactions between soil bacteria.
