Amy C. Hartl, Ph.D. is a statistical consultant at Florida Atlantic University specializing in advanced statistical modeling of longitudinal data. Dr. Hartl graduated summa cum laude from Ursinus College in 2011, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and completed her M.A. (2014) and Ph.D. (2016) in experimental psychology at Florida Atlantic University. She has coauthored 19 publications, including A survival analysis of adolescent friendships, which appeared in Psychological Science in 2015. She has long served as a statistics instructor and math & statistics tutor. She received the FAU Graduate Fellowship for Academic Excellence (2013), the Susan T. Dewar Memorial Award (2014), Presidential Fellowships (2011 and 2012), as well as the FAU Jack B. Walker Memorial Scholarship (2013).
